Tikon was founded in January 2025 from the meeting of two professionals already known to the industrial automation sector, from different trajectories but with the same language under their hands.
Luca Pezzi and Morad Ait Rabah have known each other for over fifteen years — well before they both ended up in the automation world. Their professional paths first diverged, then ran close for years across different shops working on similar plants, until 2021: in the same year, they worked for a few weeks at the same company — one leaving, the other joining. From that moment they understood that working together was only a matter of time.
Luca starts hands-on: two years as a panel and machine-side wireman, then the move to industrial software, where he develops end-of-line systems for ACMI (wrappers, pallet conveyors and warehouses) and paper handling for Pulsar. In 2024 he goes freelance with Polytec BM Group, programming robotic cells for steel plants — PLC code, factory testing and on-site commissioning, full cycle. Morad grows on the inlet side: aseptic fillers at Gea Procomac, projects at E80 under a third-party contractor, then a step up at Fluke as project engineer — first leadership role, managing projects from client specifications to delivery. In 2022 he joins Krones Italia as automation engineer at one of the most important bottling players worldwide, and closes his pre-Tikon journey as a freelancer for Ronchi Packaging on filler-capper monoblocks.
In January 2025, after years of freelancing that confirmed to both of them that the market responds to technical quality more than to the size of the legal entity behind it, Luca and Morad founded Tikon S.r.l., based in the Republic of San Marino. The idea was simple: a technical company, run by people in the field, providing European system integrators with expertise built across the entire path of the product — from the wet side to end-of-line — with the guarantee of always talking to who writes the code, never to a salesperson.
Both operational in the field, always. No representation duties, only technical work.

In 2022 he joins Krones Italia as automation engineer, before closing his pre-Tikon path as a freelancer for Ronchi Packaging on filler-capper monoblocks.
